I’ve been so lucky as to join Kristen and Elliott through their engagement, marriage and now, as they await their first child.
Unfortunately C*vid caused multiple postponements to their wedding date. With grace, these two made the most of the situation.
By 2022, they’d welcomed this sweet boy, Hank, into their family
(a dream of Elliott’s),
made a new home together in this beautifully aged house,
and were so ready to say their I do’s.
It felt as though so much time had passed since we’d first celebrated their engagement with photographs.
After their wedding, we decided to honour this broad season of change by documenting the here and now.
It didn’t take long for us to tucker out Hank the tank at which point Kristen suggested bringing him inside to rest, but just before they’d like one last photo with his bandana on.
To my great surprise, finding the news of their first pregnancy in the script of Hank’s new accessory!
His best and new title of babysitter – and big brother Hank of course.
I couldn’t be happier for these two incredibly sweet and selfless humans. It’s a privilege to witness you love the way you love, and to see you find such joy – this year especially – and such good news.
