5 years ago I had the absolute privilege of connec 5 years ago I had the absolute privilege of connecting with these sweethearts During what would be our final drive from Lake Ontario to Lake Superior, we made the perfect pit stop in Sudbury to meet some old friends Stepping through the door of Mel & Roo’s home, my heart couldn’t be more full to see their entry hall coated in framed memories Their first boy all grown Kisses for his baby sister Helping hands with his little brother’s necklace clasp Laughter filled their home Everyone sang and cheered on baby girl Playing superheroes and spider-man and picking blueberries from their very backyard How lucky am I to see you through your moments Of great love In new beginnings The growth of your family All of your dreams coming true Thank you for trusting me to see you, then and now xx

Our chapter at 926 is coming to a close Hard to b Our chapter at 926 is coming to a close Hard to believe it all started with that old red truck, 18 hours on the road + an inflatable mattress What first felt like a nightmare quickly became opportunity Time and space to find our rhyme and rhythm We understand longing We’ve felt the weight of distance We’ve redefined home Our gratitude has grown We trust what’s meant to be will be And we’ll always remember the goodness that has found us here We’ll never forget our thoughtful neighbours The lessons we’ve learned in the company of new friends The sweet family we’ve found in a community passionate about animals The seasons, landscapes + lakesides we’ve discovered The amber blinds that warm up our grey home We treasure the generous collection of rainbows, broad horizons and sunlight that greets us (nearly) everyday And so now we’ll carry it with us As we wave goodbye to our crooked mail box, the mountain at the end of our street + the airport we’ll never walk home from again Bittersweet + better for it We have never felt more sure We’re coming h o m e 🤍
I want to serve you so. much. more. than a collec I want to serve you so. much. more. than a collection of photographs. I want to give you more than a service. I want you to receive an experience that makes you forget all about me + just remember you and how you felt. I hope our time together serves you freedom + connection. Freedom to be fully you, to plant your feet, to forget about the camera. Connection in the where, when and why. Connection between you, your love, your people and the spaces we find ourselves. This morning will always feel exactly that. Megan + Eric, I can’t thank you enough for welcoming to be here with you. Together we collected feelings rather than portraits. These are two of my favourites + coincidentally they’re from the last few minutes of our time together. I’ll never forget the way these two effortlessly melted together, as if I were never there at all. I hope in 50 years, they remember it that way too.
